How my journey began

My path to becoming a counselor wasn’t a straight line—it was a journey of discovery, resilience, and purpose. Before stepping into the world of mental health, I spent years helping individuals grow in their careers, coaching them on sales strategies and professional development. But along the way, I realized that success wasn’t just about strategy—it was about mindset, confidence, and overcoming personal barriers.

I wanted to do more than help people close deals—I wanted to help them heal, grow, and navigate life’s transitions with clarity and confidence. That realization led me to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LaGrange College. My studies, combined with my background in psychology and hands-on experience in coaching, have deepened my understanding of anxiety, depression, and intergenerational trauma.

But let me be honest—I am not perfect myself. Life is not a straight road, and we all face challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt. However, I truly believe there is beauty in the journey. Every experience, no matter how difficult, shapes us into who we are meant to be. That’s why I approach counseling with both knowledge and deep empathy. Healing isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about having the right support, tools, and space to grow.

As a counseling student, I am continuously learning, growing, and refining my approach to helping others. My passion lies in creating a safe space where individuals can explore their challenges, develop coping skills, and step into the best version of themselves. While my journey is still unfolding, my commitment to supporting others remains unwavering.

I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey to healing and growth.

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
